I hope you are not getting sick of book reports. That is all I can contribute, since I am not in any way a cook. If it has to be one or the other, I am definitely books!

I just finished OKAY FOR NOW, by Gary Schmidt. I liked it alot. I thought at first it was a bit repetitive, but as the story went on it became more endearing than bothersom. It is a story of a family with a no-count father, and is told first person by one of the children, a middle-school aged boy named Doug. It is written for older children. Although it is sad, I really did enjoy it.
